El honor en el poema de Mío Cid

En este estudio se analiza el uso que se da a al término honor en el Poema de Mío Cid, en relación a la realidad social del Cid Campeador. Se intenta mostrar que el honor, si bien tiene un significado primario relacionado con bienes materiales, principalmente tierras, va más allá de eso. Constituye este un bien intangible más importante que la vida, además de poder ganarse, aumentarse, perderse y compartirse.
