La muerte cotidiana
Militancia femenina y lucha armada en Chile, el MIR y el FPMR (1970-1990)

Reflexionamos en torno a la opción por la lucha armada en mujeres de dos organizaciones resistentes a la dictadura pinochetista en Chile (1973-1990): El Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (MIR, 1965-1987) y el Frente Patriótico Manuel Rodríguez (FPMR, 1983-1990) nacido como brazo armado del PCCh. A partir de testimonios, documentos y prensa partidaria, indagamos en cómo ambas orgánicas justificaron el uso de la violencia política, así como en el interés de estas militantes por adscribir a estos proyectos y sus implicancias. Lo anterior, desde una perspectiva cultural de la historia y la teoría feminista; cuestionando la noción de naturaleza femenina y comprendiendo que las interpretaciones de mundo e imaginarios construidos contribuyeron a las decisiones tomadas.
