Desenterrar el futuro. El republicanismo utópico de Simón Rodríguez y Santiago Ramos

En este artículo se propone, por un lado, problematizar las críticas elaboradas al vínculo entre letra y poder en América Latina y, por otro, rescatar un vínculo plebeyo entre escritura y poder. Para ello, en primer lugar, se hará una revisión de la crítica elaborada por Ángel Rama y actualizada dentro del campo de estudios críticos, culturales y literarios en América Latina. En segundo lugar, se reconsiderará el vínculo alternativo propuesto por el mismo Rama al momento de pensar la figura de Simón Rodríguez. En tercer lugar, se conectará esta lectura sobre Rodríguez y se hará extensiva a su discípulo Santiago Ramos. Finalmente, se mostrará cómo a partir de Rodríguez y Ramos es posible plantear un vínculo emancipador entre escritura y república en los términos de un republicanismo plebeyo.
