Justice as a particularist ethical criterion in platonic philosophy

In this paper we explore Plato's particularist conception of justice, emphasizing its link with the ideals of the common good and social order. This conception contrasts with the Plato's political emphasis since, for some interpreters of his philosophy, aspirations of citizens are relegated in accordance with demands and specialized functions that they possess. However we propose a reorientation of desire towards what is beneficial for citizen and city based on Republic IV, contrary to the alleged rupture between the internal order of the citizen and the social order, between individual aspirations and demands of the common good, conceived in terms of harmony by the Athenian philosopher in question.
