The article tnes to go explore one of the great complexities and preoccupations that the Hospital of Barcelona had to face during XV century when deahng with abandoned children: feedíng and care oí the newboms. Th1s situation created a network of wet nurses that not always was sufficient to cover the basic needs of the newboms.
