Thomas Hobbes y el problema de la validez del contrato en el estado de naturaleza

Thomas Hobbes es conocido ante todo por su teoría contractualista y su teoría del contrato celebrado en el estado de naturaleza por el cual se da origen al poder político. No se ha notado que hay una doctrina hobbesiana que parece hacer inválido dicho contrato. En el presente artículo exponemos i) dicha doctrina, ii) explicaremos cuál podría ser la solución que Hobbes da alproblema, iii) veremos si ello es compatible con su teoría respecto de la relación entre filosofía política y Dios, iv) expondremoscuál es el conocimiento que de Dios tienen los hombres en el estado de naturaleza para luego sacar las correspondientes conclusiones.
