Oral Traces in Student´s Academic Texts

This article addresses writing problems of university students in relation to the oral traces in their written academic texts. The analysis considers the communicational situation of written academic texts and the lack of communicative repertoire of young people. Ten academic texts produced by university students are analyzed discursively and oral traces are identified. Finally, a diagnosis of the analysis, its possible causes and some remedial measures which could be applied are established.
