Meetings of Writers in Concepción
Social, political and intellectual relations

This article analyze, from the Sociology of the Culture, the various production organizations relationship involved in the literary encounters organized by Gonzalo Rojas in Concepción from 1958 to 1960, with the aim of examining social interests, political and literary document deposited by the cultural agents who participated in this set of activities. We reflect on three main nodes: i) the intellectual network generated among participating writers; ii) the alliance established between the University and international organizations such as Unesco; and, iii) mediation exercised over Essays presented at the meetings of both writers.
