Literary Writing of Trauma and the Deconstruction of Historical Myths in the Territory of Argentina’s Current Literature
Keywords:
Narrative, Dramatic Text, Argentine, Memory, TraumaAbstract
This work analyses the novel Dos veces Junio by Martin Kohan, and the dramatic text Los murmullos by Luis Cano by overlapping categories from different disciplinary areas: trauma and memory politics. Studies on memory of the recent past in relation to the notion of trauma have been major theoretical anchors of reasoning about the argentine literature of the last two decades. In this context, the texts of the corpus will be analyzed as disruptive expressions, acting controversially, disputing political and social meanings around these themes.
